At a media event in San Francisco, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer unveiled the latest version of Microsoft Office.
Ballmer called the Office 2013 “a new generation of Office, where it is a service first.” He continued that the new Office was designed with “the most modern devices in mind,” though there was no mention of support for Android or iOS devices.
Office 2013 sports a revamped application interface; the interface is based on Metro, the user interface design language of Microsoft.
